Throughout
the better part of the 20th century, the property now known as Wolf Creek
was owned by Willis Case's family. In the early part of the
century, it was a dairy farm and delivered milk to the Dover
area. Midway through the century,
standardbred horses were stabled and trained on this site and a produce stand that operated during the growing season sat proudly for
many years along State Street allowing the farm to display its
production of fine fruits and vegetables. Entering the 21st
century, Mr. & Mrs. Willis Case wanted to continue the legacy of
their family and were only interested in allowing the very finest
community to be constructed on their land. After passing up the
opportunity to sell to inquiring developers, the Cases selected a local
partnership which included Tom Burns, Walt Ellis and Jack Melvin, all of
whom have been involved in the creation of fine communities in
central Kent County. The partnership's Wolf Creek plan has
allowed the Case's vision to be fulfilled. Combined with the
talents of the developers, this vision has created the most desirable
mixed use community in Dover. We proudly offer this community for
the benefit of all the residents of Kent County.
